Our History & The District
Starting in 2007, the City of Eureka Springs signed a resolution to start a Downtown Network organization as a partner to the city, but a separate 501c3. In 2011, the organization moved from a part-time program to a fully accredited Main Street Organization. The district was approved by Main Street Arkansas. Every business within the district is automatically part of the Main Street initiative. See the district.

A fully accredited Main Street through Main Street America and Main Street Arkansas and also a registered 501c3 through the State of Arkansas. Our current GuideStar Rating is Gold.

Main Street Eureka Springs has evolved alongside Downtown Eureka Springs itself. While our organization began with a focus on downtown business and property owners, our work today reflects a broader understanding of how deeply Downtown is connected to the entire community. The Brand
Main Street Eureka Springs approaches the downtown district as a place that attracts people who want to explore, have fun and enjoy the vibe of a real place. We maintain our large following through our website, Facebook page and Instagram account to promote that to both those that want to visit and invest downtown.
Our Funding
Our funding is provided by three main sources: the Eureka Springs Walking Tours, Grants & Fundraising. We primarily focus on tour operation and grants and they make up 85% of our overall budget. You can read more about our funding at GuideStar.
